Engine idle wobble, possibly missing, intermittent, no vag com...Arrrggghhhh!

I have an '03 Bora ADT 1.9.PD

So, over the last month, noticed more and more the engine is wobbling at idle (hot and cold), no difference with the clutch depressed and no noise so I have ruled out the DMF. The current economy is awesome (I do 200 miles on the -daily and at anything other than tickover, its smooth as silk!)


As per the title, here are my symptons...

• Engine wobble at tickover - intermittent and can happen when cold or up to temp & clears under throttle.
• No rev counter fluctuation at all but it does sound like its missing when you listen.
• When slowly braking, it feels as if you have a mildly warped discs! - The discs are brand new and on heavy braking, it feels fine! (I noticed this could be linked as its not under load when braking)

Based on tinterweb research, I have come up with the following -

1. Injector loom,
2. maybe engine mounts too (there is movement on the gearbox side).

I don't have access to Vag-com but as its my daily driver and I have a TPS close by, I want to sort it asap.

Any thoughts or similar resolved experiences would be appreciated.

the loom is a service item , easy and cheap to change. 100k miles is good for one, so try a new one and see what happens.
