I'm not at that PC but will be tomorrow ... 038129637L with Audi brand was showing no hits, will try on VW, Skoda, etc ...

When I do an ebay search for 038129637L or 038 129 637 L most listings have descriptions of VW cars but they are also 1.9 TDi ...

Perhaps as parts could be identical someone has fitted the VW part to your Audi ... that's my best guess at present ...

The screen I saw with 038 131 501 J on was also showing fitted to the AWX ... a lot parts are shared ... on occasions differing engine code parts also fit others ...

For now have a nose of this link and read the P/Ns , engine codes and vehicles it fits Link:- VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda 1.9 TDI Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (EGR) - 038 131 501 AL / AA / J - Darkside Developments

Also view under heading 1.9 R4 TDI PD 43-118kW on this page Link:- List of Volkswagen Group diesel engines - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Morning mate ...

First I searched around manually diagrams of various VAG 1.9 TDi and none had P/N 038129637L , I even checked lists of dropped parts ...

I knew it existed as I'd seen the ebay listing last nite ...

I really couldn't make any sense ... then I started to a google image search for 038129637L and found this lot ...

    Here's a nice close up shoot ...

    Then I saw this ...

The official VAG parts catalogue uses the P/N off the valve for the complete EGR valve unit, where as 038129637L relates to the body which by the looks of it is not in the parts cat as a separate available unit ...

What marking does the actual EGR valve on yours have on it? (the disc thing in last photo above) ...

    Here's the original ebay.de listing I've nabbed the photos from Link:- AUDI VW AUDI SKODA SEAT 1,9 TDI AGR , DROSSELKLAPPE 038129637L / 038 129 637 L | eBay

Look at this listing how the person has listed both P/N's the one off the body and the valve Link:- VW Passat 3BG 1.9 TDI 96KW Drosselklappe 038129637L 038131501AA | eBay
