It jams the valves so valve unit gives mechanical failure and below -10c degrees front sinks overnight. When checking live data after valves closing electronically the pressured still drop for few seconds, I think that's because of moisture.

Are you sure it’s not airbladder leaking?

Might be, but not sinking in jacking mode and warmer weather. If it's supercold the jacking mode won't help.

Very cold weather shows air leaks more clearly, Park at level 3 if it doesn’t sink at level 3 but does sink at level 1 it’s 100% airbag leaking

soapy bubbles on the lower bend of the airbag and park at level 1 to see if bubbles keep forming

    best regards

    Hi all

I own a 56 plate C6 Allroad and it looks like as of this morning I have a same problem as Kenhaw above.

I drove the car to work this morning and the yellow suspension warning light immediately came on and flashed at me all the way there and all the way back. Restarting the car resets things and I can hear the compressor - sounds OK. However the car won't lift - although its not (yet!) on its bump stops. Looks like its about Dynamic Height. After the compressor cuts out and the display on the MMI goes to "not working" mode, the flashing yellow light comes back on again.
@bagpipingandy helped me out 15 months ago and I bought a pair of aerosus airbags which did the trick. I'd previously had a new suspension compressor fitted as I'd not checked this forum first - so my compressor is not very old.

Not sure what my next steps are - i've left the car on jacking mode overnight and I'll have a look at the levels in the morning. Possibly refurb the compressor and take it from there? Wondering whether my newish airbags at the back are leaking , or the ones at the front?

    any advice gratefully accepted :-)

    Hi richard

A flashing error light indicates the car may be just lower than its lowest setting, has this happened gradually or all of a sudden?

    Any dault codes?

it does sound compressor related, if the compressor was also from aerosus it’s likely a chinese one which will only last 12 months, check if it has any wabco markings on it, only genuine wabco ones have wabco stamped on the cylinder and plastic body, your symptoms sound like a weak compressor, do you still have the old one? They are better built,

let us us know if it is a genuine wabco one you fitted and we can check something else

    best regards

    andy

    Hi Andy

I first noticed the light today; my wife now tells me that it was intermittent yesterday but before that, nothing.

Im afraid that I have no idea what make of compressor i have - and the old one was spirited away before I could ask them for it.

No error codes but I can get it looked at locally.

    Hope this helps

    Richard

    No problem,

if the error light flashes on start on start up and compressor runs it suggests the car is lower than dynamic, does it look low on any corner?

you are right to park it tonight in jacking mode and see if it sinks in the morning, if no further sinking and description above is what is happening refurbish the compressor

    any questions please just ask

    best regards

    andy
