    Hi Jamie,

what tool are you scanning with? was this fault code read in the suspension module or just an error code found on the cars scan?, a scan with VCDS will show up like this:

    XXXX EXAMPLE XXX
Address 34: Level Control Labels: 4Z7-907-553.lbl
    Control Module Part Number: 4Z7 907 553 E
    Component and/or Version: - 2C1A1 D040
    Software Coding: 25500
    Work Shop Code: WSC 09999
    VCID: 479745C565B6D51
    1 Fault Found:

    01400 - Suspension Level Control
11-00 - Control Limit Not Reached
    XXX EXAMPLE XXX

this tells us exactly what the error is and where, if you google your code: Supply error B+ sporadic-signal too low? it points to alternator Which is why i dont think this code is in the suspension module

did you try to clear this code?

if you can get a scan with VCDS it will help, I have heard some code readers will not scan suspension modules, use this forum to search for people near you with VCDS

    regards
    Andy

I have read the various helpful posts / threads about this and think a leak is present (somewhere) as well as weak compressor.

In jack mode at P1 both front units deflate almost equally with the offside a little lower, however it took a dozen attempts to get pressure back in the front and some more on / off of the electrics to raise to P2 then P3. At present I am testing 'bagpipeandy' theory to see if I lose height overnight.

Would it be more likely that I have a double failure or some sort of valve / pipe leading to valve limiting this to the font only approximate assumed pressure loss?

Hi David,If you have put it in jack mode overnight it should disable all signals from level sensors so any sinking should purely be air leaking somewhere the wheel airlines go individually to the valve block, if it sinks in jack mode when at all levels check these airline connections for leaks, if it doesn’t sink when left parked at level 3 but sinks at level 1 in jack mode this is definitely a leaking airbag or 2 if both corners sink! , spray the lower half of the rubber airbags with soapy water and look for bubbles if it still sinks in jack mode, also nip down to me in Maybole and pick up a repair kit for that compressor get you pumping up easily again!!RegardsAndy

    Hi Andy,

I came down this afternoon but you were not there.

Have ordered online, can you recommend an 'expert' locally with whom I could leave the car for diagnosis and work perhaps?

Hi David,ah it was yourself, sorry I was not in, I'm just home from work I work at Spirit AeroSystems just along the road from you!! your kit is posted should arrive tomorrow,I can diagnose fault codes for you I have VCDS, I have no problems offering a scan and assistance to you, whats the issue or work you need require doing?? Affraid I don't use any local garages I tend to break and fix it myself, there are a few garages in Ayr who specialises in Audi's but never used any of them and I doubt allroad/air suspension experience though, regardsAndy

Essentially, I was wondering if I could ask you to diagnose and repair the beastie. ? Paid absolutely of course.

On the way past the broken tree the suspension went nose down today and stayed there with the green light (number one) flashing and the yellow warning light blinking away. It can be driven, this wasn't such a problem until I placed the car in jack mode for the first time and now the nose doesn't seem to want to come back up. I'm technically minded but not handed unfortunately.

I intend to have the EGR blanked and Seditas re-map the car once done but wanted to get the suspension in better shape first.

Hi David, I sent a PM to you, give me a ring to get you scanned & see what's up, if it sinks it is a leak, also sounds like compressor cant get it back up kit should sort that but we need the sinking looked at, if possible get car up to level 3 and leave it there (hopefully if it doesn't sink at level 3!!) regardsAndy
