B8 A4 Winter Wheel Thread –

Seems strange asking this at the beginning of June, but it is the last thing that I need to sort out having recently changed from a A6 C6 Avant to an A4 B8!
i have a full set of Audi approved alloys and winter tyres in the garage which have done the last 3 years, but are now useless to me due to the A4 centre bore and off set change. The wheels are 17x7J with 225 x 50 Continental Winter Contacts on.
To make a cost effective change, I have found an OEM set of A4 B8 alloys which are 17x8J which I am considering buying to swap my tyres onto. The rolling radius changes by less than 1.00% and 4mm. My only slight issue is that Audi tend to supply 7J rims as a preferred width. I know this is for less floatation and more bite etc. Can anyone see a problem with using an 8J rim instead?
Apologies for a winter tyre in Summer question - just want to get this sorted out so it's not a panic at the end of the year!
