Good food, comfy knickers. That's about it really. Mind you, in the '90' s I did buy a couple of suits there.

I prefer pot still whiskey like Bushmills and Jim Beam bourbon. No class here just fine sipping whiskey and M&S inner pants!

There's a bottle of Talisker sitting next a bottle Laphroig quarter cask in my study right now.

Sweet Jesus! I wish I had that kind of willpower. Haven't smoked for 20 years but the scotch, now, that's a different temptation altogether.

The last time I was in M&S, I was being eyed by a security guard as a lifter. Apparently you have to wear tweed and drive a Volvo to be allowed to peruse the shop at your leisure.

I quite like Next, I've had a few things from there including a 3 piece suit (court appearance yes, har har) - can't fault it. My favourite hooded jacket is from there too - 4 years of wear and it's still washing well.

As a sidenote - it appears I'm getting old.

I'm not welcome in our nearest M&S the last time Mrs Odd was buying her unmentionables and trying on stuff I completely misinterpreted a sign that read "knickers down, now's your chance"
