At last, the Audi A4 has gone to the great trade in in the sky, and now I've grown up (read, got old) I need more space for the kids, dog, and assorted related paraphernalia.

So here is my new steed. She's a 2006 Seat Toledo Tdi Sport, with the 140bhp 2.0 oil burner. The one previous owner was a doctor and I spoke to him before purchase from the dealer. This car has wanted for nothing and has a full history (half seat, half indy specialist) and I have every receipt that it's ever had on it including a new ABS module and EGR last year!

Owning this car has made be realise that the Audi has less spec than a Victorian orphanage. This baby is a different matter. Folding mirrors, bluetooth (aftermarket but still) 6 speed box, cruise, climate control, ipod dock, parking sensors, tyre pressure monitor and more cubby holes than the Millennium Falcon. The Audi had ONE cubby hole under the radio.

She's an acquired taste I know but it's perfect for my needs and according to howmanyleft.com, there are only 91 in the UK so I won't be passing one anytime soon.

So today was a quick detail day. Didn't do during or befores but it involved -

washed with 3m car soap
smart wheels for the alloys
clayed with Bilt Hamber medium
Poor boys black hole
waxed with Bouncers 22
tyres with car skin rubber
all window trim including the big black swath under the screen were done with Bouncers 22.

And here she is, don't be sick too much.

Boot number one....

Boot number two...

Before I hoovered the interior so shut it.

The is the best I could get the exhaust. They're only tips so hopefully I can replace them from Seat.

Look at that fine *** :brow:

Yes I picked my brush up.

Plans are-

wheels first and foremost. They're small and a naff colour. I'm going predictable and getting RS6 five spokes. 18's probably.

Might drop it a touch, dunno yet.

Cupra front splitter (I've been told they'll fit but will have to research)

New exhaust tip.

I think that's about it. It's certainly different and I'm so glad I bought it. :thumb:
