Hi I am changing my HIDS back to standard bulbs as they won't pass the MOT in august. I was just wondering if this is something I could do or should I get someone who is a vehicle electrician to do the job and how much would it possibly cost?

    You can do it yourself.

more than likely you have an aftermarket kit fitted, this basically plugs into the cars original loom and has its own wee box of tricks.

Unplug this, and plug a bulb back into the cars loom.

I would disconnect the battery though just to be on the safe side

Thanks for the reply, I'm a little hesitant to disconeect the battery because I have an ERG delete on the car and a remap. But I'll give it a go myself. Thanks again.

Disconnecting the battery shouldn't remove any settings.
