I am still driving mine and I like it same as before

    The car is on 246000km

    Going good.

But, I had some repair in meantime:

218460km dualmass flywheel, clutch and pressure plate
229128km repired intake flaps motor with small limiter (famous error P2015)
239674km replaced main intake flap (throttle valve)
240132km replace stabilizer links on front suspension.

Engine (2.0 TDIe, 100kw CR) is still going strong and I have intention to drive it long time.

    Trim - 2009 2.0 TDi Le Mans
    Since - April 2012
    Mileage then - 24,000 miles
    Mileage now - 140,000 Miles
Total mileage now during ownership - 116 000 miles

Serviced every 10,000 miles since I’ve had it. Had no mechanical issues, aside from a blocked DPF which was actively regenerated so still original part and the rear LED side light replaced. Still on the original clutch and had no mechanical failures or electrical gremlins as of yet. Car still feels good & tight. I might change up the springs and shocks this year. I don’t thrash the car and I warm it up sensibly with low revs. Car doesn’t really need much over 2000K revs to up and go, so hardly ever stressed.
Hoping for 200,000 miles or more. How many miles can a modern diesel do?

    Last car

2003 C5 diesel, bought it with 97k had it 12 years 230k when it went. Still on original clutch, exhaust, turbo, was getting a bit smokey though, but it still passed emissions. Brilliant car. Aside from a pair of shocks a few sensors it only used consumable parts.

current 2l ultra black sportline, bought july 18 with 38k , now on 72k. No repairs needed as yet.

    2010 LeMans - 3.0 TDI Quattro

Bought in late 2016 with about 220,000km (137k miles).. Now has 405,000km (251k miles).

No major issues in that time. Is serviced as scheduled or as needed and does mainly motorway miles.

Was thinking I'd probably need to replace it this year/next, but I've been working fom home for months with Covid, so my mileage is practically nothing at the minute.

Really interesting seeing all your mileages. Here's my '05 Audi A6 2.0 TDI 140 SE, still soldiering along.

Its been in the family since 2008 and I've been driving it since June 2019. Now on 353,114 miles (568,160 km) and still going strong. Hoping to get to 600,000 km!

Around 124,000 miles the flywheel was on its way out so it needed a new flywheel and clutch and got an oil pump modification done around the same time. Around 200,000 it got a new turbo and alternator. More recently there were a couple of engine oil leaks which ended up causing the starter to fail so I got those fixed and a new starter. Apart from that just timing belts, brakes, suspension parts etc. I usually get it serviced every year regardless of mileage. Hopefully I get a bit more use from it but at this stage I refuse to scrap it unless something major goes!

That’s Impressive. I’m hoping mine will carry on too. Was the oil pump modification anything to do with balance shaft hex key?

    2007 A6 Allroad 4FH, 3.0tdi engine.
    Bought oct 2016, mileage 154 000km
    Now, jan 2021, mileage 256 000km.
    In my possession: 102 000km.

Normal service, but I changed ATF oil and filter at 179 000km and at 254 000km.

Changed parts during my 102 000km:
    - Left engine mount
    - Front left wheel bearing
    - Front left outer CV joint and boot
    - Front right lower forward control arm
    - Front inner axle CV boot both sides
    - Front brake pads both sides x 2 ( I use the car with a trailer...often )
    - Front brake discs
    - Rear brake discs and pads (pads changed x2)
    - Rear lid lock changed
    - Rear brake hose and pipes both sides
    - Rear gas struts
    - Front headlight xenon D2S bulbs both sides x2 (I change every 4th year)
    - Had front bumper, A/C compressor and cooling radiator changed due to accident....(4400,- GPB all included and labour)

    Planned operation within a month:
    - Replace bank 1 and 2 lower intake manifold flaps, seals, swirls and inner parts. Clean out all carbon deposits.
    - Replace upper manifold with a used one that has no carbon deposit inside. The one that I have in my car is pretty much "carbonized". So will clean that. But I paid only 15,- GBP for the used one on Ebay and it looked almost new to me.

    Pic is taken oct 2020.
