A6 Mileage Thread

Since - middle of june 2013
Mileage then - 36,414
Mileage now - 49087
Total mileage during ownership - 12,673

I serviced it when i got it.
Second service coming up in 7 days time.

I have now done 161,000 miles in mine and serviced it 13 times, going to keep it until it reaches 300,000 if it makes it to there.

My A6 is 2011, bought on July 2015 with 170000 km, after 2 years and 3 months in my ownership car has 208500km now. No problems so far... I am intending to keep the car for long time, I adore it.

Mileage now - 115,000
Total mileage during ownership - 91,000

Serviced every 10,000 miles since I’ve had it. Had no mechanical issues, aside from a blocked DPF and the rear LED side light replaced. Planning to keep it and maintain it. Best car (all rounder) i’ve had.

Did 250 miles last year..... Must actually get round to using her....

I just like my DD, which is an old phaeton...

Be interesting to hear how often the high mileage 2.7/3.0 owners are changing their oils? thinking camchain wear.

mine started to rattle ar 130k, i promtly sold it.

it was a 3.0 tdi ASB 2008, oil changes every 10k without fail using the correct oe oil and oe filter.

Good to know, but I reckon 10k is to much no matter what the maker says.
Im doing both our cars every 5k, old guy told me years ago oil cheap engines expensive, obviously he hadnt seen the price of oil these days!

Old thread I know.....but mine had 247,000 on the clock when I got rid.
