Hi guys new to the site so wanted to say hello, and I just wanted to say I have a audi a4 b7 2.0 tdi with the dreaded blb engine on a mid 2005 :-/ it hasn't got a trip computer on it and have read it's easy to be fitted and installed but being a bit of an Amateur and not having vag com was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for part number and someone in the heathrow area or somewhere in the south east I could travel to that would be willing to do it for me also sorting out the washer bottle problem so the light is connected if it has one as I've used all my washer fluid plenty of times and never seen a light also if cruise control is done in the same way it would be nice to have that put on too obviously I'd pay who ever would be willing to do it I'd just rather let someone who knows what their doing sort it out rather then me break it, thanks in advance Stephen

    Welcome to VWAF

I take it you don't have a small rocker switch on the end of your wiper stalk?

If not you'll need a new stalk with the rocker present and of course the relevant coding with vcds or similar.

While you have the steering wheel off you can change your indicator switch for a indicator and cruise switch (cruise is a small stalk below the indicator) and a new lower steering couling to accommodate the switch.

You must check if your steering control module is compatible with cruise first though.

I think the washer thing you only need to ground one pin to stop the alert. You won't have the sensor in your water bottle as you don't have the DIS from factory.
