    Hi guys,

Been playing with my vcds and trying out setting up DRLs as fog lights in the North American setting but just noticed that my side lights don't work nor the tail lights if I put the switch in the side light position all lights work fine in the dipped beam position. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

    Cheers

Run indicators as DRLs here and have same effect under north American setting.
Have light sensor so in that switch position, if gets dark or into a tunnel sides go on
when dipped heads go full intensity. Think it's US regs? Only have wiring via a relay for
fogs so can't check if same
Running fogs if viz is >100M is an offence

Remember the American cars don't have a sidelight feature in their light switch, only off, auto (if fitted) and dipped beam.

Strange. recently I had North America drls enabled and I have full sidelight function.

However the same setting to my old 55 plate resulted in thd same loss of the sidelight position... If you notice though, when you've turned thd ignition off it works fine!

Yes, the sides revert to parking lights -- I feel a truth table coming on

Anyone know if there's any adaptations which can be made to get the sides working in North American mode or to turn the tail lights and sides off in Scandinavia mode?

    Cheers so far fellas.
