Hi folks, has anyone else had this fault come up after hitting a pot-hole ?
Is it a new sensor or loose connection ? I've had a poke round and cables/connectors look tight.
Fault shows instantly again when cleared.
    cheers

'open or short to plus' but I'm having no luck tracing the fault, is there a common break-point in the loom ?
After a jolt going over a pot-hole, I'm thinking of tracing cable back to ABS ecu, where is it ??
    cheers

Check that the sensor is still where it should be. While you're there, check the face of the sensor for rust - it's magnetic and it attracts all sorts of debris

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.

That shouldn't give "open or short to plus". That should give a low signal and show up in measuring blocks.

Isn't the ABS ecu strapped onto the side of the ABS pump?

I had the same code after working on my suspension - hitting the pinchbolts had caused the sensor to work its way loose which in turn increased the airgap between the face of the sensor and the brake disc.

The rust was just a bonus
