I've noticed the ECON mode on my aircon / climate control stays on and when you turn it off the light indicating it's on or off stays on. The manual says if this is the case there is a problem with one of the aircon components could this be this issue shown when I had a recent VCDS scan

If cheap maybe we install, if IIRC others have done at home... could be doable when we look at your rear pads...

Maybe someone will come along with something more for you on your fault log...

Does your AC then work sometimes? if your saying the light is not always on...

Ok cheers for that I'm gonna check my fuses because there is a thread in the A4 section (I think) and a member mentions having an AC fuse gone causing the same issue. The fuse was replaced and corrected the problem.

Hi. Had the same prob with mine ( G395 ). Its the sensor behind the front panel. cost about £50 and quite easy to change. The book says remove the entire front but you don't have to if you are careful. The sensor is on the left at the top of the condenser so concentrate on that side. and slide the front panel away there is the offending sensor.
Done a bit of a write up before so you might find that for more info.
    Hope this helps
