Providing there is no damage to the chassis or the suspension/axle it should be fine

I used to work in a body shop and seen worse not written off, but then I've also seen a lot less written off, it all comes down to price of parts and labour and the cost to buy your car now, What year is it and how much is it worth??. what they look at is does the cost of the repair get close to the value of the car making it uneconomical to repair. Looking at it, it may pull out and repaired without the need of a new rear quarter, If it needs a new rear quarter I think it would probably be a write off. It would be worth someone buying back from the insurance if it does get wrote off

What would you expect to get for that car if you were going to sell it tomorrow? (Minus the Damage) I reckon as long as it's more than £2000-£2500 you will be perfectly fine (providing no unseen damage)

Just looked on ebay and they vary from £3500-£4000 so I reckon you will be perfectly fine (providing no unseen damage) Did they stop and leave details?

    Hi Arman

I had the same damage as you, in exactly the same place. In fact it could almost be my car! My A4 is an 04 registered 1.9TDI estate. My damage was just bodywork and the chassis was not effected by impact. The body shop worked their magic and it's gone. The work was completed under insurance too. Assuming it's just panel damage then based on my (limited) body work experience I can't see that you've got a write off.
