New Owner

Hi, I'm the new owner of a VW Sharan SE 140 DSG Bluemotion. I've just put the first 100 miles on the clock and must say I'm delighted with the car. I traded in a 2010 Ford Galaxy 2.0 Titanium X 163 manual and whilst this car had really good specifications, I prefer the VW already. I had previously owned an Audi Q7 SUV 3.0 TDI 245PS Quattro on a UK 2007 plate but the fuel costs were getting a little on the high side. On initial impressions I'm pretty certain this VW Sharon SE will serve me well and expect a better or maybe equal MPG to my Ford Galaxy's 43.6 combined. Maybe a member can indicate what I might truly get though. Regards to all, John

Hi Guys, Thanks for your kind welcome. I realise that my vehicle is in the "brand new" group and not in the same league as the many "special" cars which our members have. However, I hope to pick up many general tips from our forums knowledge base, who knows what the future holds, I might even be tempted into buying an A3 or similar as a second car just for the fun of that great vehicle John
