    Hi all

    relative crashed her 2007 polo on passenger side against a lorry, not too bad, but now doors and windows will not close/lock

    any ideas before i pop over this evening after work, i have VCDS/vagcom

    is this a safety feature or something? as far as i know there arent any lights on the dash etc

    Most cars have a crash switch which activates in the event of a accident opening the windows and locks to reduce the likelihood that people will be trapped...... where they are and how they reset though differs....

    many thanks for the reply,

    its definitely going to need a new door.

    does anyone have the removal procedure and/or a how-to?

    how to remove the hinges?
