    Hi guys,

New to all this, so hope I'm asking right!

I've got a 2001 Audi A3, and the engine management light has come on.
Can anyone help me in diagnosing the fault please?

    Thanks.

There must be someone close by with vcds (have a look at the attached map & if you need me to PM someone, just let me know & I'll get their attention for you). If you don't get a reply though, there's a good chance I'll be up in Blantyre this weekend if you could get there.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply.
Scotsman50 in Alloa, or Bagpipingandy in Maybole (if I go down to my folks) are prob closest.
However Blantyre is closer than any of them!

Let me know if you can help....not a problem if it will be a pain in the **** though!

    Thanks.

Nah it's fine. I'll be up there all day Saturday & til mid afternoon Sunday. I'm visiting family up there, so just need to check what the plans are, but hopefully Saturday morning should be ok if it's ok for you?

Hi mate, unfortunately Sat morning is the only time I'm not available!
I'll be out until around 2pm, and are available all the rest of Sat or Sun.

You can let me know if that is suitable? Alternatively I'll she what else I can do.
    Thanks for your help.

Hi, we may have a bit of a glitch. Can't find the damn cable anywhere. I've turned the place upside down looking, but no joy. The wife says she'll look when she gets in from work, as apparently I only ever have a 'man look'. I'll PM you my number if she finds it, but I'll let you know either way by about 6:30 - 7pm.
