Noticed my car's been getting a bit lumpy lately so it's time for a diy service. Think it's just the filters needing changed out as the fuel one has done around 45k now. Has anyone repaced it on the 2.0 tdi before? Can I do this without removing the coolant bottle? It seems to be tucked in a tight space although seems straightforward enough to change over once the clips are off? I have the vcds cable to run the pump for 30s afterwards, so that shoudn't cause a problem.

I actually had mine done at the dealer recently along with some glow plugs, but had looked at this to be fair, per attached video.
Albeit its off a VW but looks to be the same engine more or less, so will be a good guide I'd imagine.

Yep, found that one too. Looks easy enough however the coolant bottle is right on top of the filter. Not sure if you can just wiggle th thing out or if the bottle needs loosened off. I'm off next week so will pst on how easy or hard it is.
