Well more potential movement re the A6, still all possible maybe's at this time, but looking more and more likely

As stated, my youngest son, may be looking to change early moving on from his Jaguar X type 2.2D Sport Premium

He's looking at various PCP / PCH options and cars such as the Jaguar XE R Sport 180, Audi A4, Ford Mondeo 2.0d Titanium X, Passat CC etc etc

The Jaguar XE is coming out tops and favourite at the moment, but still early days, hoping for a weekend test drive in the next few weeks

As I mentioned, I said to the wife and she's kinda excited to possibly have the X type which is a great car and looked after / loved, a 58 plate with only 70k miles and about as good as you'll get for the year

Then, I happened to mention this to my daughter, who is now salivating at the prospect of getting the A6 so it'd still be in the family, although likely to suffer more pain and abuse in her elder years

A nice little chain reaction going here, interesting to see if it pans out lol

Well that's the A6 gone from my ownership unfortunately / or fortunately whichever way you look at it.

I've watched her go down hill somewhat the past 3 years whilst my wife ran her......I tried to minimise that as much as possible where I could. She's still such a great car, so reliable and never let us down, once washed / polished etc still looks great too.
I bought the Jaguar X type 2.2d FULLY LOADED Sport premium from my son, a 58 plate with only 72k miles for my wife. She's a real beauty and will serve her well

    The A6??

That's gone down the line to my daughter and SIL
Now at 139k miles and still a looker but she'll go down hill rapidly from now on sadly.

Unfortunately it's something I'll have to watch and will be gutted no doubt, month on month.

I may still be around from time to time though and will help as and where I can with ay issues they come across. Not going anywhere and will still drop by from time to time

    Cheers all
    Jim

Hi Novica, yes I'm afraid so.

We have 4 Jaguars in the family and I am Admin on a Jaguar forum that I run, as well as being a member of several others, so it kinda makes sense.

I can't say I didn't enjoy my A6, loved her and had her from new for 10 years, a great car and I really enjoyed.

I'm not saying never as regards another Audi, just not in the foreseeable future perhaps. I wish you all well and happy motoring, may the road rise up to meet you on your travels one and all.

Still be around and drop by from time to time

    Best

All the best and enjoy in your Jaguar, after all, it is important that you feel good in that car.
