Ok, just rang a few dealers up to get the 4motion oil and filter changed.

JCT Bradford, said cars not a 4mo but the cost is £75
JCT Leeds, said car IS a 4mo but its a sealed unit so they can't quote becase theres no way of getting to the oil... and asked me to ring every dealer that quoted me asking how??
JCT York, said car IS a 4mo quoted £65
JCT Wakefield, said car IS a 4mo, quoted £110

Ok, so, is the 4motion unit a sealed unit??? and are vw leeds correct. Does the oil/filter not need changing?

    Cars a 58 plate 2.tdi

    Any help is appreciated!

Initially it was said to be a non-serviceable part, but a TSB was issued (at least in the USA) to advise of a fluid flush every 40k miles, so yes it can and should be done.

    TSB is here - http://nateronline.com/Technical_Bul..._mtc_check.pdf
