    Hey folks,

The A/C on my 2006 B7 has started to either blow cold, or blow hot with very little inbetween. Set it to 17c and you'll get cool air, 17.5 and its pretty hot, although not as hot as it'll go. Its became a bit of a battle when driving between cooking and freezing... It's also slightly irratic in that setting both sides to the same temp can sometimes result in different temperatures coming out each side of middle vent.

I've checked with Vag-Com and no faults are reported, also done a basic setting but thats not helped.

When the basic setting is running number 5 seems to stay at 255, but i would need to double check to confirm this.

I recently replaced a flap motor after the arm on one snapped. That was around a month ago and the install followed by basic setting had everything working like new, so may be related, but hopefully not...

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks

    Ross

    Not sure which one.
You could remove the glove box and watch the motors.

The motors can be removed and regreased as the wirm drive tends to dtick.
Try google for a "how to"..
