I've just picked up my 18 month old Seat Exeo (essentially the same as a B7, and I'm posting here as the Seat Forum is very quiet!) I only have 1 complaint - the clutch foot rest sits far too high for me. I'm 6'3" and find it a struggle.

Does anyone know if the foot rest can be removed so that I can stretch my leg out? If it can be removed, does it expose the chassis of the car or does it still look neat?

Mine is a 2011 61 reg SE Tech Saloon

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks folks

My B7 has a clutch foot-rest. I'm 6'2" and find it is fine. I wish there was a footrest for the other foot too ;-)

Hi. If you are still interested, it can be removed. Just took mine of today. There are 3 x 10mm nuts that secure it. They are all accessible from the right side - top, middle and bottom. They are very awkward to get at especially the middle one as it's partially covered by the carpet. I used a small ratchet with an extension. Hope this helps
