Audi a6 1.9 tdi avant 130 special edition. What is so special?

hi there i have just joined the forum today so hi.

I have had my audi a6 for roughly 8 months now but just recently started driving it.

It is registered as an audi a6 avant tdi special edition 130, it is 2003 registered and black.

but i do not seem to understand what makes it a special edition.

it has 5 gears, symphony 2 radio, cloth interior, it came with 16" alloys and it is pretty basic.

is there such a thing as a special edition in the a6

Special edition is a end of production edition me thinks.

The end of run was a Final Edition.

I had one and they are the same spec an SE but with leather seats (un-heated) and an RNS-E satnav.

As for a Special Edition, no idea.

After doing a quick google, the special edition seems to be referred to as indeed the Final Edition.

mine is also a LIMITED EDITION, I got mixed up. so maybe its just something minor. WHAT COMES WITH YOUR PETE?

An 03 is too early for a Final Edition, mine was an 05 plate. I think they spanned the 04 , 54, 05 plates.

Could be wrong though.

Spoiler on boot lid, sports suspension, sat nav, cruise, special anniversary 17''alloy wheels, leather seats/everything, heated mirrors, most other electric operated things (mirrors, windows, seat, etc). A few other things also- just cant remeber now .
What I do know however- is that a limited edition is not listed on on insurers database . Sometimes makes it awkward .

I have an '04 plate SE. Does that stand for special edition? I read somewhere that from '03 onwards they all got sports suspension, leather seats etc as standard. Maybe thats it.
