Thought I'd give this a try and tell you 2 Dumb things my Wife has said recently.

Wife - "Ayd I want to buy this off ebay but it's in Euros, how do I convert it to GBP so I can check the price?"

    Me - "Use XE.com"

Wife - "how do you spell that?"

Last night when ordering a takeaway (my Wife always has the chicken curry)

Wife - "I fancy something different tonight, I might have the Prawn curry, what do you think it will taste like compared to the chicken curry?"

Me - "the same but a bit prawney"

maybe you had to be there but anyone else got any?????

This might also be a had to be there kind of moment, but my sister after us all singing our lungs out to achey breaky heart (that wasn't the embarrassing bit), said "what is an ecky pecky heart anyway"

Twas also the same gal who said "you can't see my hairy gap can you?" to which of course she was referring to the gap between the top of the boot and bottom of the trouser which was unshaven.

If I forget everything else in my life, I hope I never forget those two moments...

My flat mate once asked after watching the crunchy nut advert "is there really a cruncy nut lane" also she has also asked "how can Steve Irwin be on telly i thought he died" she's come out with a few.

Also in conversation with a friend about the paralympics a female friend called us liars and said there is no such thing it would be to cruel on them.

Carls use of the word t'internet has reminded me of this one.

I was in the post office collecting travellers cheques a few years back and the chap issuing them asked me were I was going.

    I replied "Thailand"

To which he said "I love the guiness over there"

Quality.... I've heard loads of these but i can only think of 1 at the minute....

    *Stolen from Peter Kay*

A cockney complains about the sound quality in a Manchester cinema. He tells the attendant screen 6 is "buzzing" to which the attendant replies...

    "Cheers ar' kid, nice one."

    Oh just remembered another 1...

My ex is a hairdresser, and whilst she was still training i asked her how her day had been (noticing another change in the hair department)? She sat back on the settee and said "we've had some new colours delivered to work today, and i was the hamster..."

Confused, i paused for a moment and then it came to me... she meant guinie pig (sp?)

From that moment on she was my little hamster

I came out with something dumb.

1998 in ibiza with 3 mates, we were walking along the street and i noticed a car that we have in this country but with a different badge, i came out with "look, a Vauxhall Opel!"

    Just remembered another 1...

My brothers girlfriend (a hairdresser too!) once called him up saying she'd dropped the 710 lid down a grid....

"Whats a 710 lid" he replied?

She said wanted to put some screen wash in the car as the water was dirty (really brave move for her, she might of broke a nail!) and dropped the 710 lid....

She wanted to put screen wash in with the oil.

He promptly asked her not to, and told her how silly she was or words to that effect (family forum )
