    Default Remove Blower From Blower Housing/ Replace Brushes – 08-02-2013,08:05 PM
    Hello Guys,

    I need to replace the brushes on my Blower for a MK4 Golf. I have removed the blower from the vehicle but I cannot access the brushes as I am unsure as to how to remove the blower from its housing.

    Looking online I have found the equivalent for an Audi A4 which suggests to remove the rubber clips holding the blower in place, however on my blower I have no such clips.

    I would really appreciate your input in how to gain access to the brushes on my blower as I am having trouble with the windows steaming up when I drive.

    Can you buy brushes as separate part ?
    MK6 Golf SE 1.6TDI 105bhp winter pack ,sunroof , full size alloy spare wheel, flat tyre indicator
    Skoda Octavia II SE 1.9PD TDI
    VW 1302LS Beetle Karmann Cabriolet 1971 1584cc
