Tell me if Im wrong here but I didnt think the audi car quattro set ups had a separate transfer box like the larger 4x4s? I thought it was all built up into the drivers side of the auto gearbox?

Iirc only 26 quid per litre from land rover dealers for the real stuff and as it only needs doing every 100 odd K Im not sure the saving is worth the potential risk?

    Dear colleagues,
I'm preparing oil change in my tiptronic it is 6HP19A. I read posts here but I'm confused for which oil I should use. I bought 6HP Ravenol before I read this post (I know my fault). Can I use this oil? Did somebody try it? If I use this oil can I make SW update of the gearbox (if it will be available)?
I have problem with the gearbox only if it is cold and I'm slowing down with engine (without brake) the RPM oscillating. I don't know if it is oil problem or SW problem but when the gearbox warming up the problem is gone.
    Thank you for any help.

    Martin

I read some threads on other forums and there was sw update which solve this problem with oscilating RPM with cold gearbox.
Tried somebody oil ZF Lifeguard 6 with new sw update?
