    Hi

    i am about to put a new engine in my A6 2.5TDI born with a Afb engine
    six speed manuel gearbox , i can get hold of a low miles AYM engine ,
    it is complet unit with no mossing parts at all , but is there any problemes
    when my car is used to have a AFB engine ???

    can i you the AYM Fuel pumpe ?
    i think the rest of them is the same

    You will need to change the sump as the AFB does not have oil level sensor, vacuum pumps are different but you can just mod the pipe to work and you will need to swap the AFB pump onto the AYM engine. Everything else is the same externally- most differences are with the strenghtening cast ribs and inside bits: rods, pistons,etc.

    Thank you very much for your reply .

    It is no problem for me to move the sump and my own fuel pumpe .
    the guy iŽam buying it from does also have a BDG engine that have driven a littel more kilometers
    it this a better engine to put in it ?
    i have read that they also have bad camshaft and will kill til cylinderheads when they go bad ?
