Hi guys I have recently purchased a mk4 golf gti and wow really enjoying the car, after taking to Chris a Audi/vw specialist that was recommended to me from a friend off of the forum, he serviced the car and informed me that it had been mapped and was running about 180bhp I was very happy as he informed me it was a very good job.

So I'm getting some more work done tomorrow (this is from advice and research from the BHP im looking for eventually) shocks, eibach pro springs, suspension arms, top struts, drop links, bushes, contitech timing belt kit, 312mm brake discs, pads, larger oil cooler and a side mounted inter cooler from Cupra r.

Now I want to fit a dogbone engine mount does anybody have any recommendations I am looking at an ECS ultimate dogbone kit?

One last question the BHP I'm looking for is max 250BHP without doing crazy mods just nice and simple, for example I have been told to go for an S3 turbo, bigger injectors etc......all advice would be much appreciated.

I plan a lot for this car over the next few years but really that is going to be the main engine work, I want to get it to a stunning condition BBS split rims, full respray, seats restitched (original condition), suttle bodykit (not boy racer lol), smoothed off boot, debaged grill etc etc (I'm sure there will be more added to that list)

thanks guys and will keep you up to date with the progress.
