As mines a auto and quattro traction isn't an issue, I've also been assured the box is more than capable.

The abt spec used to be on their own site before the latest generation a6 came out
They had the 280 and 305 bhp diesel tuning packages then they also had as on an option on the AS6 (their hot diesel) the option with new abt turbo, bigger injectors and a few other things the monster power upgrade which i am sure was 350-400 bhp but was about 12k!
Out of interest what torques can our box take then?
Is the water/meth really necessary and what does this assist with to sound dumb as its not something i have ever dabbled with

Water meth is simply an injector mounted in the intake which sprays a mixture of water and good quality screen wash to cool down intake temps. I would go uprated intercooler which is the best option but very expensive

12k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll look that up for a laugh
If the car was standard i reckon 350 could be achieved for around 3k
Guess we'll find out if my tuner is right about the gearbox.

At present I'm in very early discussion with the UK specialist so can't disclose anything yet. If they come good I'll be letting everyone know.
As to the USA supplier i need to do some research myself on them as im always cautious and it's a lot of money to give to a new unknown source.
There is a possible 3rd injector option of BMW 535 injectors, I'm hoping on more info on this from another audi specialist but apparently there is a audi 3.0tdi running them abroad to good results.

Compared to all my previous cars this is the biggest, most comfortable, most techy, best built, most economical, lazy drive, and desceet. Seems perfect for the new family, she's driving it more than me at the moment until I by her something.
