My car will finally be ready to be picked up on 1st March!! Getting excited now but just wanted to check if there is anything I should look out for when I do.

    The only options are:

    ACC
    Colour Dis
    Privacy Glass

So nothing with them- any advice for things to be aware of would be appreciated.

Believe it or not picking up a brand new car dosn't mean its just out of the box and blemish free, in fact you could have quite a few issues if you really look close

Try not to be blinded by how gorgeous it is or how shiny, or the new smelling freshness of it and really really take the time to look, especially the paintwork.

Many many dealers these days employ so called "car valeters" that in a small way destroy the new paint finish. They can use old / tired cloths that may have been dropped on the floor inflicting tiny scratches, or worse still use buffers to shine her up and leave buffer tails all over the paintwork.

Do a search on hologramming / buffer trails etc .....youtube would probably be best.
I've included a few worse case scenario pics below, these are bad, just to give you an idea......

My advice, would beto get her into the showroom and under some decent lighting, look ( really look ) at the calrity of the paint finish from all different angles and ALL over the car rom back to front and including the roof.

If there is any damage there you will see it and it shouldn't be there on a brand new car
Below is a link to a pro detailer site that will tell you more......

I apologise and don't mean to scare you, but new cars aren't as NEW as we all like to think, so just remember to really really look

I'm sure your car will be fine and dandy, and really hope all is well for you, you lucky devil

    Best
