My Avant has a large storage space in the rear left hand side of the boot. I want to use this to store my various winter kit bits and pieces but am looking for a way of making it a bit more useful as it seems quite open to losing things!

I guess I'm looking for some sort of bag that fits well, or some way of boxing it off to make it a more useful space as the netted hole is on the other side.

    Has anyone tackled this already?

Couple of years ago I was bought an AA Winter Car Kit (not dissimilar to this one AA Winter Car Kit) which includes a canvas bag with plenty of room for other stuff and it fits into that cubby on the left of the boot area

i tried all sorts of boxes, none were able to utilise more than about 50% capacity.

    i now have in there:
    foot pump
    padded orange hivis vest
tool bag in a cotton "wellie boot bag" acquired from a guy in the army
    first aid kit.

Pack it in tight so there are no rattles.

    BE CAREFULL:
If you have bose speakers i think the amp goes in there? Give it air space for cooling
It looks possible to lose smaller items down the inner trim, to be avoided at all costs rattle rattle....
