Hi Guys will the Audi 2012 A5 S-line wheels fit the Audi 2008 S-line, the wheels look the same and the tyre size is the same but wondering if the ofsets are the same for these wheels/models of cars.

    Many Thanks

Thanks for the info, so looking at the info the A5 wheelswould stick out by 18mm more than the A4 wheels, I have had a measure up and itlooks like I have around 35mm from the edge of the tyre to the wheel arches soit should fit. But would this cause any problems with hander ling ECT.

I'm no expert, only got an idea from researching replacement wheels for my own car but I would think you might end up with a bit of tram-lining and inner edge tyre wear. From what I remember when looking (my Passat is standard et45 offset), I think you can normally get away with an offset change of upto 10mm without any problems but any more and it can start to cause issues. However, I remember a bit of chat with another guy who had some lovely rims on his Passat where I think he'd dropped to an offset of et32 or something and he reckoned it was fine.

Maybe it's possible to compensate by giving it a minscule amount more toe-in; I don't know, I'm sure there's guys on here who should be able to give you a bit more experienced advice than my own.

It would certainly look nice with the rims right out in the arches though!
