Audi A6 side light problem - HELP

Please help....

So when I bought my A6 (2008 57) the passenger dipped beam bulb was out so I thought I'd upgrade all of them, side lights included. I bought a package from Halfords including two HID effect dipped bulbs and two LED side light bulbs.

Now the dipped bulbs work fine but I'm getting error messages on my dash for both side light bulbs and they both just randomly work. The passenger one works better but I find the driver side flickers a bit then goes off followed shortly after by the passenger side?

Before I get a costly job done does anyone have any ideas or even experienced this before. The bulbs are CANBUS compatible and for those who have fitted these you will know they are really easy to do so I don't think it's something I've done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want I can supply contact details for a contact of mine who supplies guaranteed canbus compatible bulbs and also led upgrade to your interior lights too

God yes please, do you think this is what the problem might be? I have just assumed they would work.

Yep that's the problem - this guy is recommended by loads of people and I transformed my a3 interior with his bulbs.
