Could you not re-align the throttle body or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I don't think there is an alignment position on it AFAIK or service guide concerned.. will check tomorrow if weather permit it...

I will order some new seals which go either side of it see if that helps...

The nonsense thing is that it goes away with blip of throttle or allowing it to idle then it work it's self away...

In second video (post 7) you can see how solid the revs are... the worst thing is usually my wife disagree with my OCD view on car... but even she agree that issue happening...

Does that give you some hope Gup, or just more anxiety? Sorry, you know I'm not very mechanically gifted, just hoping to hear some good news while following it.

Honest answer... I wish they said yes and I could but throttle and solve it...

So this morning I started the car... fluttering revs@startup first start of the day.... which it never ever did in past until a week or so ago...

What really bugs me is that... when I bought it I checked a lot of things on it... spent nearly 1 hour first visit (checking/test drive) then pay deposit... on collection again 1 hour (check/testdrive)... I know I'm not a mechanic but honest answer when I saw it I was shocked at how good car drove and looked... and I had seen several before I bought this...

Every retro has been done so carefully... all trim removed carefully... even when I had carpet out and removed front/rear seat and various bits of trim... every thing was put in place... any clips/screws renewed if needed and not any old one used if needed I bought exact one from Audi and used it!

My wife this morning said just get rid of it....

Now this was what was happening at the tail end of car... (So post 15 & 16 videos on the same day)

I know there are posts/info say smoke like that injectors.... but it was first start of morning... car show 10c on outside temp...

I drove 3 miles to do school run... no signs of smoke at idle in traffic... got home no smoke at idle stood there watching for several minutes...

Last nite when I went for "Sports Mode Italian tune up" no issues... no fault codes... no lights on dash... no limp mode

    Gup,

I'm not a mechanic - but there doesn't seem a lot to look at in your latest videos.

Are you sure it's not just because the mornings are getting colder?

It may not be anything as bad as you think - chin up

Hi mate.... just try to post as much info so some one can maybe give me a clue...

I totally agree smoke look ok to me... for a large diesel with no DPF and cold morning...

I drove what 3 miles, 10 mins max... came home not a single plume or anything...

Last nite car pulled like a train.... I feel my car drive so well that I could do this...

What I mean is - maybe there is nothing wrong? Maybe the nights/mornings are getting colder and it's just taking a few seconds longer to sort itself out first thing.

You've done recent scans showing no errors. Why not leave it for a week, just use the car, and re-scan in 10 days?

Before it used to do it like how I post here... Link:- Audi A6 3.0 tdi hunting revs

That was 30th September... but issue was there before even that post... IMO it has been getting worse not better...

Last winter car had none of this issue... I got Aug 11 so really now second autumn/winter I've had...

If needle just went up done and I could not physically feel rocking and hear change in revs I would just let it be... as bad connection... iffy sensor...

After having paid out for new chains and tensioners... I'm thinking the rocking and variation in revs can't be good...

There is a video link in this post Link:- Bubbles in fuel line the section of clear fuel line on my car has no bubbles...
