    Hi,

    Do the above only kick in below a certain external temperature?

    Mine were working and now I havent seen them working since.

    They only come on when the rear screen demist is on
    A6 2.4 SE (2000)S3 1.8T (2001)80 Coupe 2.3 (1991)

    As above, I think they come on with the rear demist.
    I don't have a separate switch for the mirrors in my car and I've a pretty high spec model.

    Yes they only come on with rear demist, i know on my last audi(b5) they came on with i turned the adjustment nob to the heated mirrors picture.
