login code required or not

Is there somewhere I can find login codes for VCDS. Here is my situation - I've just bought a B6 Audi A4 which was repaired from a cat c. It has a saloon wiper stalk for some reason - ie, doesn't have a rear wiper function. I've bought a new wiper stalk with the rear wiper function and am going to fit it this week. I know it will need recoding, but will i need to login to the steering control module or can i just recode it without logging in?

I dont want to do the job and find out i need login codes and then nothing works!!

You shouldn't need a login code for that.
