    Hi all

Recently my A4 2.0T FSI SE has developed a fault. The car would lose power every so often along with an EPC light coming on. I brought the car to my local Audi dealship who ran it through a scan. This scan showed a fault with the NOX sensor. It said something along the lines of NOX Sensor Control Unit, replace with NOX sender - g295.
The mechanic told me the sensor was screwed into the exhaust, however ive read on the web that theres another part to this which is located in the passenger footwell.
This got me thinking. I was in a minor accident about a week before the problems started, causing some damage to the front passenger side bumper.
Would this have caused or contributed to the current fault the car has?
Also the dealership quoted me about €800 to replace the sensor which is ridiculous, so ive booked the car into my local VW dealership to see if they can replace it. Will they be able to replace the sensor if theyre worth their salt?

Thanks all in advance, sorry for being a car noob.
