    Hi all,
can anybody tell me if I am able to tighten the doors in any way please. My car is a taxi and I'm fed up with people slamming the doors all the time.
I think the problem is, because they are quite heavy doors people think they have to give them a good tug, but they close easily and so people end up slamming them.
    All advice is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Ivor

I know what you mean. Some of my family do the same despite me reminding them not to. As you say it's probably due to their weight and positive action making people assume they need a heavy handed slam shut. I doubt if there is a solution to this, can't think you can adjust the mechanism in that way.

I doubt it does any harm though, just annoying.

Can't have it all ways. They are heavily sprung but I guess that's better for when they are opened in windy conditions.

I hate the way they come back at you as your trying to get out if you don't quite get onto the last roller on the sprung hinge!
