    Evening all,

Just bought a 2008 2.0 tdi S - line A6 at auction. I am chuffed to bits with the car, but it did have a few marks and scrapes when I bought it. I've had a couple of marks resprayed, full valet, service etc etc. Two of the alloys are still scuffed, so I am weighing up whether to get them refurbished or replace them. However....

The black triangles at the back of the rear door windows (exterior) are corroded and are peeling. I've looked around but can't seem to find the part number/s? Does anybody have any ideas? Also, has anybody had a go at replacing them? The only mention I could find anywhere said that they cost £20 each from Audi but cost £400 for labour!?

    Thanks for reading

    G.

I have but nothing seemed to move. Seems to be held on by something else, but not sure whether it's a bolt or the chrome trim along the bottom of the window.

Certainly will, i'll get a photo of it tomorrow. Lashing it down outside at the minute! The jpeg I have used isn't my car, just cropped an online photo to help describe the part I was looking for!

It's a weird one. Doesn't seem to be a common problem!

Interesting query - I've got the same "need" but for different reasons...mine got scratched a little while ago and while I can get the part for peanuts, I had no idea how to take the existing one off

    Hi Akash

Do you have a link to where I could buy the parts? I have done a bit of research and I think the part number is 4F0853274CY9B but i'm not 100% positive. Can't imagine they're going to be easy to fit, but I may have a go.
