    Gents,

Looking to press the button on a March 2011 3DR 2.0TDI for the wife.

    Questions:
    1. Would this be the PD or CR lump.
    2. Was Bluetooth Standard.
    3. If not cost to retro OEM setup.
    4. White or Black. Views.
    5. Are owners out there happy.

    Many thanks

HIS - XC90 D5 R Design (sorry, had to be done)
    TOY - 2001 Westfield 2.1 SEW,172bhp SOLD TO MY BROTHER, I needed a PANERAI.
HERS - 'R' New 7spd DSG and 310 rampant ones. 4.2 off the mark will do nicely

    1) CR - more reliable than the PD it replaced

    2) No I'm pretty sure it's an optional extra on all spec levels.

    3) about £100 - I have compiled 2 guides at the top of this section - the OEM one is the way to go IMO. I can help with installation if needed.

It's not as bad as it seems and can be easily installed by a novice - https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=136956

    4) both but there's too many white cars now - so black everytime. The phantom black looks ace in the black edition.

    5) Very happy with my 2009 Sport - no trouble at all in 9 months and 20k miles bar normal service items and a few dealer inflicted problems in the early stages of ownership - fine now though.

I disagree tbh, about £100 very unlikely indeed given I've done this countless times, if you want the most compatible, which if you have a fairly recent model of handset, as older BT modules can have issues with newer handsets, so you'll need latest release which are 8P1 modules.

maybe a bit optimistic with the £100 but I managed my AA module, wiring loom and mic for £115

It was standard for 'a while' if I recall then it became an optional extra again.
