    Hi everyone,

Just spent a fortune having a new water pump & fan control module fitted to resolve on overheating issue. The car seemed ok and had driven it about 3-4 times since when all of a sudden the engine management light came on and the engine seemed to shut down. I assumed this was some kind of engine protection mode as the engine had no power/drive at all and wouldn't go above 20 mph. I stopped driving sharpish, and nursed it round the corner to a friends house where it's been since.

I know the car will need to be run through Vag-com or similar diagnostic tuning equipment to get the fault code but judging by the juddering when driving forward slowly, any ideas what this might be (bearing in mind the recent engine work it's had done??? Anyone else had similar symptoms?

Does anyone know any good (cheap!) Audi specialists in the Slough/Maidenhead/Reading area? I really need to avoid anymore expenditure on this car so soon after the last repairs.

    Any help much appeciated!
