Tail gate module

Hi,

Long story short - just got an ex demo 2011 A6 Avant (C7) - some toys but not all. Anyway kids like the "electric" tailgate feature and decided to close the boot while my wife was standing under it. She, naturally was not impressed.

Anyway, in VCDS I see that you can set an "alert" for the boot on opening, closing etc as well as enabling the closing of the boot using the key fob.

When I try to change the settings it is saying security access required. Anyone got any idea what the security code for this unit is?

If you go to the Security Settings for the module, sometimes VCDS displays a help balloon showing the security code to enter. As yours is a C7 and therefore pretty new, Ross Tech might not yet have the info for your car, though. Are you using the latest version of VCDS?
