Just wondered if anyone has any experience of swapping out the front and rear seats of 1998 A4 B5 Saloon.
The front seats are manual, and the rear seat, has a 2/3 -1/3 split folding backrest.
Will the later 2001 onwards fronts fit, and can i go with electric and heated?, or what about A3,or A6 or what about Passat, bora, Golf.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

you need to pretty much match what you have
all b5 chassis fronts mount the same (except full electric) but early dont have airbags and facelift have different connections for the airbag but these can be changed

full electric have different front mounting point but electric recaros will fit

a3, later b6 a4, a6 and b5 passats all use different mounts so wont fit, early golfs (mk3+earlier) look like they would fit but never tried them

electric lumbar support and recaros just need 12v and earth to retro fit, for heated you'd need harness and switches from doner car or from kufatec.de

avant rears wont fit saloons without modifications and fixed back saloon rears wont fit folding back saloons, avants also have two types of rear fitted early ones have similiar fixings to saloon so could be made to fit fairly easily but the later ones (with 3 headrests fitted) use a completley different latch

shame your so far away ive got a nice set of black leather heated seats on ebay at the moment

    Hi,
I thinking to buy a leather seats in my b5(saloon), and there is a set on ebay with all door cards, but I'm not sure if they will fit in my car.
I've got facelift b5 saloon and my rear seats(folding) look like this ones : AUDI A4 B5 GREY LEATHER SEATS FRONT BACK FULL SET & CENTRE ARM REST VGC | eBay
but I want to try get them GENUINE AUDI A4 B5 COMPLETE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR WITH WALNUT TRIM - USED | eBay but they got 3 headrests.
Not sure if they will fit my car, and if not - what i need to do to fit them?

    I will appreciate any help.

    Thanks.
