    Hi All.

    first post as new member

The brown guide on my cam chain tension has broken up on the left hand bank, resulting in the cam chain 'sawing' two grooves in the cam cover. The inlet cam has spun around, this inlet cam is now 5 teeth out of alignment !! luckly no damage.

    My Question is.

Is this a common problem ?

Is this a result from cam chain tension failure.

Does anyone have a cam chain tensioner, that they would sell.

    Andy
