Just noticed a new vibration heard from inside the car....its been drivin' me mad! Seems to get worse at certain points in the rev range....presumably the resonant point of the vibration.

Had the wife sat in the passenger seat today checking for vibrating or loose panels on a test drive....then she drove and I tried to find but alas, no joy in trascing the flipping vibration.

In desparation, checked under the bonnet and found that both main plastic engine covers were loose....both ineer and outer ones sat on top of the engine. Took em' both off, had a drive and vibration gone!

I then discover on further inspection bits of plastc sealing tape marks at random points on the cover! It look s like the previous owner or the ir garage had 'TAPED' the coers down!

It looks like a couple of the fixings are broken -

    1) Can these cover fixings screws/clips be replaced?

    2) Can you buy both inner and outer covers?

    Thanks all....

They use the rubber bits to hold on to the engine brackets, so if the holders for these are broken, then its a new cover or you could bond the rubber bits in place with sikaflex.
