We can tune them to your requirements, its a thing called a phone, and I can talk to the bloke down the phone.. he tunes the files, not me. So think about what your trying to say.

How can it be 'overpriced' if your getting the same thing done?

I do not use KWP2000 for customers cars! I use something much dearer than '£35'

I think if you want to do tuning you really need some better equipment, the £35 kwp2000 clone will cause you so many problems that you will end up with countless sleepless nights.
    I have WinOLS.

I don't use KWP to remap cars, I have other hardware for this. KWP was just something we bought a while ago and never used it however used it once on our own vehicle Golf GT TDI-PD 115, went like the clappers after though as it came with 8000 already tuned files.

I'd like to know what the best hardware is I don't really trust the KWP2000 anyway.

and Sorry to onza for my last post I hadn't realized this post was up making you think I was a cheap tack sort of chip tuner...

No worries, I think I jumped a little off the deep end this morning, sounds like your comming from the right direction now.

I don't know the answer to this, but arn't the KWP pre configured files considered a liitle harsh on the engine, they work but arn't the best

Probably, but as I said, it was our own car, wouldn't trust it on a customers car. We bought it intending to use it, then found some roumers about it so didnt use it.

Whats the recomended hardware to use?

Thank you in advance to any replies on this question

The best and most secure system on the market is OptiCan, this has full re-communication abilities, auto corrects checksumms and is constantly updated with new features.
    This is what ChipNSpin use.

I guess you only have a trial copy of winOLS ?
That can easily cost in excess of 40,000 euro with all additions.

It is without doubt the most advanced software but takes many years to master the art of making good tuning files.

Even with the same software and hardware but different tuners the difference can be extreme.

For example, Performance Tuner magazine sent cars to 6 of the top tuners in the UK and did a set of tests, these included horsepower gains, speed test on the track and drivability.
They didnt tell us when they bought the car that they were testing us but the end result was that we won every catagory.

Im not saying that we make the best all the time, far from it, when we get a file we are not on first degree terms with we get it written by someone who is at our sister bases in Hamburg and Dresdan.

We also offer in house training at our HQ in Bromsgrove with training given by Jayson, Simon and Andreas.
