Hi (first post since 2008) I'm planning on slamming my Scirocco with coilovers, now my question relates to wheel size and will they rub or catch and will I be able to fully drop it down?

I'm planning on fitting a set of deep dish 15x8J ET25 with stretch rubber and quite possibly 25mm hubcentric spacers all round, either that or a set of 16x8J ET25 fronts and 16x9J ET35 rears. I reckon in both cases I might need to roll the rear arch but my concern is the front catching on lock etc.

    Any helpful advice appreciated!

Using a 7x15 ET 35 with 195/50 15 tyres you can just about get away with no rubbing and a lowering of 40-mm. If you go ET25 and 8 inch with 195 rubber (pushing it a bit) you may get some outer arch rubbing but less at the front inner on full lock than with an ET35. If you fit Et25's with 25-mm spacer you will have ET0 and that will cause you as much trouble as fitting 225/15's on Et35's.
