    Hi,

Three of my center caps have started corroding (not the twin spoke alloys), does anyone know a good place online to buy a new set of these:

    Thanks.

Nope, but if you find a place please let me know! (and visa versa) I was thinking of just rubbing them down and spraying them.
Cant wait to get the All'road' Offroad!

There is another alternative. If you take the lacquered aluminium ring off (the bit that goes manky), you're left with this:P1040678.jpg

Just straighten out the little tangs on the back of the cap and Bob's your uncle.

Depends whether you particularly want the contrasting ring I s'pose. I think it looks okay without it.

In this picture, for comparison, the rear has the original cap with the tinny ring and the front has the one without:P1040680 rz3.jpg

It's also one heck of a lot less faff than trying to refinish the original ones, and oodles cheaper than buying new ones at eleven quid-odd a pop.

I've got a set (one of which is in the picture) without the tinpot rings that I'll put on the car when the current set have got too horrible to use.

Hi. I did the same. I also popped out the little Audi logos (they were chipped) light rubdown & 3 coats of black enamel paint (my car is black!)- they look as good as the originals. Now thinking that anthracite coloured reconditioned alloys would be a good match.

I agree I have just bought mine and it has had the centres sprayed silver. Looks great. I am thinking of getting the wheels powdercoated a darker silver/anthracite so i will repaint them to suit. get busy with the paint and save yourself a load of money.
