    Hi all,

I have just bought an Audi A4 estate which is in fairly good condition. However, the interior trim (aluminium fish-scale type) has seen better days.

While I would be happy to simply replace the trim with that off another car I'm struggling to find any in good condition, especially as I'm reluctant to spend a small fortune on it! I have heard of people wrapping the existing trim or spray painting it to give it a new lease of life. I'd be happy to give this a shot and would welcome any comments/pics from people who've tried this in the past.

    Cheers

    Rob

I may be wrong, but I would imagine wrapping would suffer somewhat with the high variances in temperature you get in the cabin (if we ever get a summer that is!). It could well wrinkle/lift. That, along with the fact that the alu trim isn't a totally smooth surface would make me lean towards painting (with decent 'acid-etch' prep of course).
